the application. If so, don't be disappointed or angry if you don't receive
an award. Here are a few more things you need to know. You may apply for
whichever award best fits you or your website. You must meet the specific
requirements for the one you choose. You can only apply for one award. These
images are samples only and, if you win, your name will be placed on the
award and the year changed. Winners will be listed on my links pages in bold type
under the appropriate category. |

The Serve and Protect Award
is for current or retired police officers and others in law enforcement
with at least one web page about them and their career. Also presented to
organizations.
The Behind the Badge award
is for the family and friends of people working in law enforcement with at
least one web page about that person and their career.

The Serving Christ Award is
for the same groups of people as the Serve and Protect Award and having at
least one web page about being a Christian. An example would be a posted
testimony.
The Tears Award is for anyone
who has at least one webpage dedicated to any law enforcement officer who
has been killed in the line of duty. |

The Great Site Award is
presented to personal websites containing any type of information. If your
site about your family, pets, hobbies, or any other topic meets all of the
requirements, this is the award for you. Choose the color you like best. |

apply, click on the image of the award to open an email link. If you apply
later, send an email to the
webmaster and write "Det Jake Application" and the
name of the award in the subject line. In the email, list your site name,
URL, email address, and your name for on the award. I won't accept
applications from anyone under the age of 16, so if you're under 16,
please have a parent or guardian submit the application for you. |
