This is a great book. The
characters are believable and the story is very well crafted. It is an easy
read. Hopefully there will be more books in the future by this author. -

What an awesome book and I'm
not even a fan of fiction!!! Can't wait to read book two! You really know
how to draw the reader right into the thick of things. I couldn't put it

I think Patterson is one of
the best authors out there and I think Sheila has done an excellent job
and is very comparable. She may just be the next James Patterson! -

Sheila Myers is awesome! Detective Jake Staub is a character to love. The
character and plot development are great, but the ending is the best I've
ever read in any book or have ever seen in any movie. Detective Jake: The
Search for Truth is an emotional roller coaster that took me on a trip
that I will never forget. One scene had me laughing so hard, I had to stop
reading until I settled down. Other scenes were tear-jerkers. My
anticipation would grow more and more as I turned the pages. This is a lot
more than just a crime story. It delves into love, friendship, deception,
and a man's struggle against God. When bad things happen to good people,
it causes Jake Staub to hate religion and God. The author's subtle way of
bringing the supernatural into this story is just enough to cause the
reader to question our purpose in life. I believe that James Patterson's
fans would enjoy reading Detective Jake: The Search for Truth. - Scott

| This book will keep you on your toes the whole time, with a
persistent need to know what will happen next. While this is a
suspenseful crime story, it goes deeper than that, and introduces some
emotional scenes, as well. I loved it so much; I plan on buying the next one in
its series as soon as possible! This is a real page turner. I highly
recommend it! - Elizabeth Parker, Author of Phobia
