January found me still searching for an agent who would represent my first book while continuing the work on the third book in the series, which still doesn't have a title. Good news came in March and I was able to get a foot in the door to getting my first novel published. What could be better than actually getting a publisher to print my book? The preliminary steps were completed and Detective Jake: The Search for Truth was made available for sell the second week of March. I also formatted the manuscript and issued the book in a Kindle version. Following the advice of a veteran writing friend and having a second completed manuscript, Detective Jake: Ripped became available during the first week of June. Writing continues on the third novel. The end of July also meant the end of writing for the third novel in the Detective Jake series. Detective Jake: Phantoms will be published in early 2011. There will be at least two more novels in the series. I've switched gears temporarily and am working on my first work of non-fiction which was published in December.
 

     Writing and publishing is moving ahead quickly. Detective Jake: Phantoms was completed in December and is now available through both my eStore and Amazon. Detective Jake: Second Chances became available in April. All of the novels were formatted for the various e-readers. Kindle versions are available at Amazon. Other versions are available at Smashwords.com.
