SPECIAL CRIMES TASK FORCE

Once I finished the four novels in the Detective Jake series, I felt there were more stories to tell about Jake Stalb, the other detectives, and the crimes they have to solve. This is why I created the Special Crimes Task Force (SCTF) series. Why did I change the name of the series if the stories are a continuation of the other four books? I felt the subplots for that series were wrapped up to my satisfaction. In Second Chances, I introduce the SCTF. Because Jake and his partner, Detective Cheryl McCoy, were part of the Homicide Unit prior to the creation of the team and that was the main focus of that series, I felt the new unit should be presented in its own series. If you haven't read the other books, you won't miss out on important facts as I've began the new series in a way to introduce people to the main characters. Over time, I may be adding pages to this site to tell everyone more about the individual books. Until then, you can learn more about the plots by visiting my bookstore pages or checking out my title at Amazon.com.
