As I
read books, many times I'm touched by both the books and the author
in some special way. This is true of Scott. In his novel, Twisted
Christians, he opened my eyes to a view of a life vastly different from my
own and one which I might never experience outside of fiction. He
presents both characters which are believable and true to life and a plot line
which is fast-paced and exciting. He is able to present Biblical truths in an
entertaining manner without preaching.
It's not very often that I offer high accolades to an
author. When it comes to Scott, he deserves more than I can write here. His
work is touched by and being used by God to help people who are seeking for
God's truth as well as helping those who are already Christians grow and
mature in their walk with God. Scott is also a man who not only talks about how
Christians should live, but also lives out what he teaches. Through our many
email conversations, I've learned much about living out the Word of God.

Scott provides a short bio:
"Scott Meade was not born a
Christian. He grew up in the world with worldly values. His life was based on
the simple belief that it was good to work hard for material possessions, get
married, and raise children. Something was missing and it was not until well
after his first wife had left him when he began to notice the clues that God
was giving him. He did not realize that he had entered the world of spiritual
warfare until after he had lost his wife, children, and most of his material
wealth. Once he decided to accept Yeshua (Jesus) as his Savior, his world
changed. Demons were sent to distract him from his studies and had attempted
to take his life several times. God protected him so that he could begin his
writing career. Mr. Meade continues to study the ancient Holy Scriptures daily
and will fight demons for the rest of his life. He is now known as the 'demon
hunter'."

I
think everyone, Christian or otherwise, young or old, should read Scott's
books. He has something to offer to all audiences, regardless of where you
find yourself in life. No matter what book you choose from his non-fiction
works or novels, you won't be disappointed.
I've never met Scott in person, but it's my hope that
one day soon we get the chance. That might come in the form of a planned
meeting or a random chance whenever and wherever God so chooses.
